Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are so sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, we have experienced some issues with the USPS so your invitation may have been delayed. Please RSVP on our website (see the “RSVP” button in the menu bar) and reach out to Katherine or Ducky if you have any issues.

  • Friday Welcome Party - The dress code is cocktail attire. For men, we’d recommend a jacket, but no tie. For women, dresses, skirts, or trousers.

Saturday Wedding - The dress code is black tie. For men, we’d recommend a tuxedo (or dark suit). For women, dresses of any length or chic pants (Katherine famously loves a fun pant). In either case, have fun with it and lean into the zoo vibe! Bright colors, florals, and animal prints are all welcome and encouraged.

General Advice - Our wedding is outdoors at the zoo inside Central Park. There will be additional tenting if it rains, but you may still need to walk through some uncovered areas. Please dress for the weather and wear shoes that are comfortable for navigating stone steps and flagstones.

  • There will be passed hors d’oeuvres and a grazing table, so no need to eat a full meal beforehand.

  • We are happy to accommodate! Most of the hors d’oeuvres and all of the seated dinner items (except bread basket) at the wedding are gluten free, and pescatarian, vegetarian, and vegan options are available. Not all dessert items are gluten free, but everything should be clearly labeled. Please let us know of any food allergies or restrictions when you RSVP and we will pass them along to the catering team.

  • The zoo is located in the south east corner of Central Park. The best entrance is on Fifth Avenue at 64th Street. Once you make your way down the steps, turn right and someone should be there to point you in the right direction.

  • Yes! Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will surround the sea lion pool, and the polar bird and tropic houses will be open if you want to pop in.

  • Yes! We have a live band and strongly encourage everyone to spend as much time as they can on the dance floor with us.

  • We’ve reserved space at Le Bar Penelope (a five minute walk from the zoo) for anyone who would like to continue the party after midnight.
